Baseketball

Charity collection "Basketball" Inspiration. Baltu Rotas draws inspiration from the culture of our land, Nordic nature and people. This story will be about people - tenacious, strong and persistent, about those who dedicated their life and health to basketball. Uljana Semjonova, whose real name is Iulijaka, also called Uļa, has dedicated her life to this sport, achieving outstanding results recorded in the history of world sports. She is considered one of the greatest basketball players of all time, in Latvia and the world. In the 60s-80s of the 20th century, she played in the legendary basketball team Riga TTT. She was the first European to be inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, USA, named after the inventor of basketball, James Naismith. After her active career, she was the head of the Latvian Olympic Social Fund (LOSF), which provides care of sports veterans and their dignified old age. Referring to the memories of Ulia's sincerity and dedication with which she took care of sports veterans, we have decided to create a jewelry collection for youth, "Basketbols". Inviting young people to play sports, to strive for excellence and not to forget our own sports legends, to respect the heritage of generations and human values. 15% of the “Basketball” collection will be donated to the Latvian Olympic Social Fund.
